20.02.2025 04:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I used to think we would face collapse because not matter how valiantly our team pulled together, the institutions just wouldn't be able to stand the stress of climate change and infinite growth. Now I see it is because they are actively being torn apart like toddler throwing a tantrum.
18.02.2025 21:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0shouldn't we be running this experiment on a trial planet and not the one we have to live on?

30.01.2025 19:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Trump's party is actively seeking to cut 18-20% of the GDP to supply $5T in tax cuts to the ultra-rich. (Yes, your taxes will increase if you make less than $300,000/year).
30.01.2025 19:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A Recession is 2 quarters of the GDP shrinking. Most recessions are about 2% shrinkage, with bad ones being 5%. The Great Depression was a 10% decline in the GDP.

US Government spending accounts for 23-36% of our $27.36T GDP.
