These are pens/inks gifted to me or bought over the years. I weirdly gravitate towards barely colored inks, but with the speed I write/doodle the colors show nicely to me!

In photos it's not as noticeable unfortunately. Yamabuki is a little HINT of almost florescent saturation. When I write my normal speed it's very pale. (the booklet was me writing slowly lol)

But the color I mixed, that's me writing normal speed and it's a littttle desaturated. Better in person lol

My positive stupid for me thing today: Becca bought me purple cups, and I mixed a micro drop of Diamine Oxblood with my Sailor Manyo Yamabuki ink and made the most BEAUTIFUL ink color for my fountain pen.

It makes me think of quinacridone yellow watercolor (my favorite color EVER....)

Had a panic attack almost happen in Ikea because of the sheer volume of people meandering in the area at the base of the second floor.

People almost hitting me with carts because they're not looking, was at an alarming number today when I was carrying glassware :))

Fucking lord ......??? AHH.

I just scrubbed the whole dining room since I'm in there 3-4 days a week these days, and the uh... the amount of Lysol wipes I just went through... I still have to go through my tea/coffee hutch 💀💔

This way, I have a sort of ground zero that Becca can help me up keep easier, and to my HEALTH and cleaning standards.

Versus... she's blind to all the CAT and it literally makes me sick, especially in the winter. So if I delegate chores via a rotating schedule I think that'll help. :T

So, so far I'm liking the hobonichi weeks how I've structured it. I'm already using my notes pages sparingly, and by putting to do lists in a NOTEBOOK I am more obligated to complete my tasks. Oh brains :))

I'm putting three to four massive clean tasks per week until the house is scrubbed.

Such an interesting year of horror movies doing good weird experiments with narratives, and everyone shitting on them for trying something different.

So often I rate a movie 2/3 stars because I can recognize what it wanted to be or do, but maybe it didn't land with my preferences.

I like talking about cool things it did though, or ideas it flirted with. Give things their flowers. Credit where it's at least due.

But that's also... eh people looking for depth in shallow waters vs people skimming the top of the deepest trench. You gotta meet things with a little bit of an open mind and understand what the playing field is. Or know something isn't for YOU.

It really drives home that kinda idea that people are too lazy to form their own ideas/opinions. Bandwagon thinking. People hating things because they can't look past something, or liking something for superficial reasons.

Idle thought today: Group mentality. I tend to watch a movie, and when I log it I'll go look at reviews depending on the experience.

A curious thing you'll encounter is one person will say an uncommon or VERY specific phrase, and suddenly that's the only comment you'll see parroted in the thread.

Got a long afternoon ahead of me for unemployment paperwork. But I might be able to get backpay, we'll see what my appeal gets.

Also just have logged out of all my messager things because at least if I'm choosing to do that, it's not in my face how much I'm not wanted/needed by my friends. Petty.

I was like, there's gonna be all kinds of music and scores etc, but I have this spare print out of my base for my media planner cover... and I have this starry sparkle laminate.... what if I just... combined those.

It's awful, I adore her. And it's all for me anyway, my eyes only lol

I do this thing where I really like picking media apart and discussing wins and losses in its goals for me and idk that's fun.

But the Internet invites opinions, and my friends make me feel like I'm talking to a wall. So I'm embracing analog hobbies and journaling. It's all writing in there, baby!

Jokes aside, Mark gifted me 4 of these hobonichi notebooks because of the line size, and I've been idly designating them for certain topics that I fall in and out of.

So far one is for movies, because my memory is shit, and this one is for albums.
