Never again.

As someone who has dealt w/ difficult loss, my best advice is to find distractions. Grief is difficult. It tends to linger & manifest in unexpected ways. Distractions, like reading that article you've saved for months or going for a long, specific walk or even shopping for a record, can really help.

I'll vote for whichever candidate vows to tear down Trump's vanity ballroom and use the pieces to build a children's hospital.

Learning all the words, getting emotionally attached, finding every single thing they've ever released, and then getting sad that I can never see them live. 😭

Some newer things I've been enjoying (that you may like too) are Fleshwater, Pøltergeist, Lathe of Heaven, The Birthday Massacre, Faetooth, Entropy, ASkySoBlack, Cemetery Skyline. and then of course I just go back and enjoy old albums from bands that have been broken up for like 10+ years.

I'm just glad I wasn't air guitaring.
