I live in Portugal now, and I've been asked why on earth did Britain do such strange thing. I can give a flippant answer but the proper answer would require explaining huge cultural and philosophical differences between the British and the various peoples of the continent.

Lets be real, I love both history and architecture. I wanted to be an architect and I'm fascinated by history. But we do not need to be spending public money keeping buildings going that are trying to fall apart. That's what I mean by 'I don't care'. That one was probably fine.

As a Brit, who hates everything this world is becoming, I confess I love to see this. What utter chaotic disaster. I bet Farage is eyeing up Downing St, Whitehall, even Buck House right now. I honestly don't care about big old buildings, I do care about spending unnecessary $$$ on new buildings.

Unless you're my cat. Then "hisssss" is the only way to communicate this. I discovered after she bit the inside of my wrist rather hard that she doesn't like me growling at her very much. But she hates the 'hiss' the power screwdriver makes because she can see it's not me doing it.

I've been reading a lot about new treatments, testing, amd research in ME, fibromyalgia, hEDS, and endometriosis lately. And lots about interactions between the different conditions I have. Apparently coeliac is common in people with endometriosis for example. Having a tough flare up of endo atm 🤕

Yep feeling that today. Woke up fairly ok, bit achey, but then endometriosis pain out of nowhere and suddenly couldn't do anything. Went to lie down and it went away, but... exhaustion, ended up sleeping, and I'm still exhausted now. So, ugh.

And people try and ask me why I think I'm disabled? This ⬇️ alone is a full time job let alone having cptsd, fibro, and endometriosis on top. My journey now is about exploring how to REALLY look after myself. I definitely overdid things yesterday, so resting today

Earlier this year I planted nasturtiums and I've been enjoying watching them grow. In all my darkness I had these beautiful pops of bright cheerful colour. And they're clearly trying to escape like I was so it was like they were showing me the way.

I'll plant nasturtiums again in my new garden 🧡

I used to wonder if all the chaos was because in a-level art I broke a mirror for my friend to use in her self portrait because she was superstitious. But then the chaos continued way past 7 years so maybe it's because I didn't forward the chain letters 😉

2 weeks and 1 day after breaking/not breaking my arm (various medical people in disagreement about that) I've just pulled a load of weeds out of the front flower bed. Couldn't do the last 3 because they needed 2 hands, but managed the rest. No sling, just balance. I'm getting there.

Batches 2 and 3 weren't good enough either. Trying 4 and 5 now. We don't have an untextured, plain, pale wall in our house, with even lighting. And the nearest photo booth is 7 miles away. If this lot doesn't work I'll have to go to the booth though.

This is one of the issues.

I remember going into a photography shop and paying £5 for a photographer to take a photo for my passport, walking me through exactly how to position myself and hold my face. Now I do it with my phone and keep getting refused by the government website because my photo isn't good enough.

The law our government is debating isn't like the one in Canada, it's much tighter, you have to have already been declared by a doctor to have only 6 months to live. Other countries have passed this, we can too.

You have to be within 6 months of dying anyway, have capacity to make the decision, 2 doctors approve, and then a board of 3 approve. I'm not concerned that I, as a person with fibromyalgia, am going to be forced to do it. I'm concerned that if I got dementia I wouldn't qualify.
