Absolutely. Since the AZ AG is suing let's see what the judge says, but for a while I've been thinking Jeffries should convene willing House members and have one of the decent SC justices swear Grijalva in. Declare Johnson's seat vacant and have the LA SoS call a special election to replace him.

The Constitution says Congress is required to meet once a year, with additional sessions if the Speaker wants to. If I remember right the next official required time to meet would be in January.

This is something we need to fix after the regime falls. If the Speaker refuses to open the House the Minority Leader or Parliamentarian should be automatically authorized to do it and declare the chair vacated. Hopefully the judge in the AZ AG's case will order something to that effect.

Constituents need to be contacting their elections officials and demanding these seats be declared vacant and special elections called. Unfortunately a lot of these states are very red and much of the electorate probably thinks their Rep is doing a great job "owning the libs".

We saved the world from Fascism back in the 1930s/40s. Who's going to save us? We need the UN to come in and help us, but I don't know how that would work. The regime has a veto vote.

There are some good Congressfolk. Every GOPer needs to go. The "old school" out of touch Dems need to go. A lot of whom are probably the AIPAC Dems, who also need to either repudiate AIPAC and show us they can change or go. We deserve better, the corruption and anti-americanism needs to end.

They've been repeatedly voting on two bills, one written by Dems the other by GOPers. GOPers have been ordered by Dear Leader not to negotiate a compromise. Both bills are falling short of the votes required to pass the filibuster.

95+ percent of people on welfare ALREADY WORK, but their paychecks aren't enough. Most of the rest are either disabled, too young to work, or out of the work force for other reasons (family caregiver, etc). Assuming someone who is on welfare is just lazy is cruel and ignorant.

Their constituents should be calling every day demanding their resignation. Calling state election officials to demand the seats be vacated and special elections called would help too.

The next sane administration needs to give every taxpayer a huge refund. Punitive taxes against wealthy enablers and House GOPers can be used to pay for it.

We need to change the law so that their pay is the first to go during a shutdown. Give them an incentive to keep doing their jobs. Most of them are millionaires and can afford it.
