Agreed. I love driving around out in places like northern Arizona. It's so, so relaxing compared to here. I live in the suburbs, so in the city I take pics of people. But out here if you look at my photos, there are almost no people. It takes work to get those. 🙂

I'm of course joking about her being my "accidental DM friend" (you get the reference) but I'm quite serious about wishing her well. Please tell her I asked about her and wish her a swift recovery!

My only comment is that I just got back from a short trip and I took one camera and one lens. EOS-1n and a 35mm prime. When I can't decide what to do, the 1n is my workhorse. It just works. Reliably and well. Spare battery just in case if you go the EOS route. 🙂

Remember how they used to hype up the world premier of new videos like that for weeks or months on end? Thriller certainly delivered. OTOH, "Blue Jean" by David Bowie was.... OK.

And don't get me wrong, I like Bowie, but the hype train for that particular one was a bit much IMHO. 🙂
