Yeah they encourage everyone to come in ahead of time and provide places to sleep. I'm lucky our unit census is low so we got to sleep in empty pt rooms in real beds. A lot of folks were stuck in cots in mtg rooms & offices.

Yes! I only worked about 18 hours but I had to go there the night before my shift so I could be there before the snow started and roads got bad. Then I stayed (and slept) because it still wasn't safe to get home and I had to be on hand on case the next shift didn't make it in.

Back from 40+ hours at the hospital, which was honestly better than it could have been bc I love my team. Sadly I came home to 2 hours worth of shoveling but a neighbor pitched in so I am only mostly ded!
