I promise I’m not trying to encourage/promote it, but becoming a parent has been meaningful for me in this way. Gaining perspective, inviting hope for the future, and connecting to other parents and caregivers has been incredible.

Notice the dollar amounts in headlines about campaign spending.

Every one of those dollars is spent making you angry and spiteful (b/c that’s what gets your attention).

It doesn’t matter what “side” you are on. You’re left feeling angry, resentful, powerless.

It doesn’t have to be like this.
