Because I avoid humans like the plague, this is the closest I come to #UrbanGaze. This young being and its sibling darted in front of my truck (both were fine) and climbed the nearest tree. I sent their family this image.

Day 11 of #ArtAdventCalendar: One of the wildlife highlights of my year was discovering this Great Horned Owl nest early in the spring. I kept an eye on Mom sitting on the nest for weeks and was starting to think she had been unsuccessful. I couldn't have been more wrong! #birds #owls

Love coots...the first and last one I ever rescued (on Easter day a yr &half ago) I said to him... "I'm sorry but I must touch those fabulous feet of yours". He was a great sport about it! He got land locked& needed a lake. So I took him to the park with my mallard friends. He was a nice guy❣️

That is so 😔 sad...its heartbreaking how challenging (to say the least) we as humans made the world for mother nature's children. What a beautiful wild dog! Coyotes are dogs! That is why they are worth saving (if not just bc they were put here for a reason like us all)❣️
