Through its arms sales, emissions, colonial history & economic policy, the UK helped make a world where migration is necessary, but barely possible legally. Not only do these politicians kick down they grotesquely invert the realities of, and responsibilities for human movement across borders.

Let's be clear: what's dividing the country is not illegal immigration, it is politicians exploiting the issue of migration for political positioning, power plays and their own gain. Whether that's Reform, the Tories or the Labour Home Secretary. And...
