Anyone involved should be prosecuted, but seriously? The deflection is juvenile. Outrage isn’t what is needed, just a collective eye roll and sigh.

11/13: probationary federal employee still employed. ICE is being investigated for deaths, disappearances as well as inhumane conditions. Also, there is renewed scrutiny regarding abuses at the notorious prison in El Salvador. This bunch of amoebas can’t even do atrocity without farming it out.

11/12: probationary federal employee still employed. The longest shutdown ever is over. Representative Grijalva is finally sworn in. Some of Epstein’s emails were released implicating Trump to the surprise of no one. More files and documents will be released. The struggle goes on. Keep fighting.

11/11: probationary federal employee still employed. Honestly, it’s the optics of the deal. Could we have gotten better? Probably not, but to just tuck tail and belly up is stupid. Obviously as a federal employee I want the shutdown to end. At least Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in.

I think it will pass but there will be push back. Trump wants to sign it since it’s such bad pr. Sure the Repubs are ultimately to blame but this situation looks bad for the dems after the blowout election win. It’s only a CR. We’ll be right back in the mess in January.

11/10: probationary federal employee still employed. SCOTUS refused to take up a challenge to marriage equality. It’s a rare bit of good news but there will be other challenges. The Senate passed the new CR. It’s a reminder of the weakness of dems when the base wants strength and will to fight.

11/9: probationary federal employee still employed. Looks like a CR has passed one hurdle and will be sent to the full Senate for a vote. Democrats helped it along, caving to pressure. While I want the government reopened I am leery letting republicans claim victory. The ACA was not part of this CR.

11/8: probationary federal employee still employed. Air travel is devolving into chaos. Grounded flights, ATC protesting as they continue to have work overtime no less while not being paid. Other federal employees are suffering. It’s stupid and unconscionable. Plus, just where are the SNAP funds?

He’s appealed the SNAP order, SCOTUS has issued an order to block payments. Looks like they want to light a fire under the appeals court’s ass. Still not sounding good.

No one ever should have a trillion dollars. Elon Musk absolutely doesn’t deserve even two pennies in compensation. He is a miserable excuse for a lump of flesh that only makes things worse. No one should be kissing his ass.

11/5: probationary federal employee still employed. There seems to be some movement toward talking in the Senate. However, the miserable ass Speaker in the House has basically kept the House adjourned for weeks. ATC is getting bad as people work long hours without pay. The government must reopen.

11/4: probationary federal employee still employed. Election Night and it’s a very very good night! Mamdani won in NYC; Sherrill in NJ; Spanberger in VA; Prop 50 in CA. There is momentum, eventually enough to crush the fascists into dust. There is still a long road but there is some hope at last.

If they are allowed to do it in Portland, they will do it everywhere. Hoping they are as unorganized as usual if the rulings are against them.

11/1: probationary federal employee still employed. The judge has given the miserable shithead until Monday to disburse the emergency USDA funds to SNAP. Due to the depths of depravity present, it is unlikely to happen. I hope it does, but they don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves.

10/30: probationary federal employee still employed. The dementia’d moron has said we will restart nuclear testing. Stupidity, cruelty, more stupidity. Delays are beginning at Reagan and Orlando due to lack of staff. This will be the end of the shutdown, if there’s still common sense somewhere.

10/29: probationary federal employee still employed. A memo went out within the DoD (I refuse to call it DoW) that essentially makes it easier to fire civilian employees. Rumors are that they will target people for political reasons such as voting patterns. It’s not a surprise but it is still awful.

10/28: probationary federal employee still employed. There are rumors once again that there will never be an end to the shutdown. I’ve wondered this and while it does seem like something the morons would do it can’t happen, not completely. Things still need to run. We will put our faith in ATC.

10/27: probationary federal employee still employed. Jamaica will soon be pummeled by a cat 5 hurricane that has winds gusting over 200mph. There will be no assistance from the US, not from fucknuts. Here only the states that voted for him receive any help following a disaster. Cruelty is the point.

10/25: probationary federal employee still employed. They’re refusing to use existing USDA funds to cover SNAP benefits. As usual the money was already allocated for emergency use but that has never mattered to these shitheads. They continue to get away with every single blatantly illegal action.

10/24: probationary federal employee still employed. I’m still being paid for now due to the way my agency is funded. So many are now screwed financially, relying on food banks.This is disgraceful. Also disgraceful are the circling helicopters in my city. It’s sheer intimidation, nerve wracking.

Senator Merkley holds the senate floor to protest the administration’s grave threats to democracy. He says he will speak for as long as he can. Everyone needs to keep shouting this from the rooftops. No silence in the face of fascism.
