Sometimes they are just emotions you’ve needed to process for a while. A sign you need to feel to heal. Breathe, give yourself a hug, and carry on ❤️🩹

So pretty fucking great.
I’m currently reading “How Emotions are Made” and it’s so good and SO DENSE with information, like so filling, only problem is that’s putting me behind my four books a month goal…

Just had a moment in the car where I was sobbing and holding myself saying “I forgive you” to myself for keeping me safe all these years. She only raised me the way she was taught. It’s not her fault. But I’m done traumatizing myself. I’ve been through enough.

I cannot convey in words how impactful this book is. It is, without a doubt, the best book I have read on CPTSD. Well-researched and sourced, yet achingly human. You leave feeling full- of grief, of anger, of joy, of love. So much love.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went to the library this weekend, and the meeting room was rowdy with the scheduled teen d&d meetup/games (some adult GMs present.) I love libraries so much.
