Sign-ups for our Rainbow Scare Pilot Jam are open! Do you have an Actual Play project in the horror genre that you've been waiting to make, but just haven't had the support to pull it off? Wait no more! We provide tons of resources and support, and a space that welcomes marginalized creators!

This is what I was collecting horror games for - we'll be providing a library of donated indie games for participants who want to use them! Yay!

(Many designers also generously offered their contact information so you can pick their brains too)

This is such a great project and yes, Locus is one of the games you can access to make your AP through this~

Finally, if you'd like to me a mentor, we're hoping that folks with experience in the following fields will sign up: dramaturgy, editing (audio and video), GMing, graphic design, producing, sound design, and visual design.

If you'd like to be a panelist or mentor during the jam, you can also use this form to let us know you're interested!

We're looking for panelists on the following topics: casting and how to pitch a show concept; playing horror through queer and trans perspectives; editing; and sound design.

As part of the Pilot Jam, you can create a pitch, assemble a team of other participants, record a pilot episode, and present it during our Halloween Pilot Jam Showcase. Participants will also have access to panels, weekly office hours, other resources, and dedicated community space in our Discord!

Our Rainbow Scare Pilot Jam is OPEN for sign-ups!

This Pilot Jam, which runs through the end of October, invites Actual Play artists to create a pilot episode of an AP in the horror genre. We're also looking for panelists and mentors to serve as informational resources for those creating APs!

Two for two on shows I've been in getting direct selected to New Jersey Web Fest from Rainbow Roll, and I have to say, particularly as a creator from the poverty line with zero of my own budget for web fests, it's stuff like this that is SO important in the space, and for boosting newer creators.
