Yeah the reason I had to try it myself was that the awful output *was* somewhat believable (though I thought it unlikely for current state of the art). But that's why I wouldn't hand off the task- I can't trust the output!

I like how this is a dinner being hosted, like did JD Vance send out invitations "You are cordially invited to my pedophile coverup dinner"

AI output "Running about 15 minutes late! Blame it on the squirrels, they're staging a hostile takeover of my car. Be there soon!"

FWIW actual Gemini output isn't as bad as that screenshot (not sure which LLM that was?)

That said, this isn't a task that I'd ever hand off to automation.

starting to think maybe RFK Jr. was telling the truth in the hundreds of podcasts and speeches he did about being anti-vax and then lied that one time in front of Congress

Trump should address his connections with Jeffrey Epstein directly to the country, in a televised national address that historians will later dub the "And I'd Do It Again" speech.

Is this typical of community feedback? I have no idea.

Looking at stats from community feedback around potential parking lot changes in Coolidge Corner in Brookline, feedback was way older and slightly whiter than the population at large, but one thing I didn't expect: women outnumbered men 2:1.

When I was a kid, I wanted to become a parking lot attendant near Fenway Park.

Whenever we drove there, it'd just be some guy in a lawn chair sitting there and we'd hand him money and he'd keep sitting there. Seemed like a great job. Sadly I never achieved this dream.

If the administration wants us to stop talking about the July jobs report, they should just go ahead and release the August jobs report now.

Nice. Yeah hopefully that last bit will improve a lot before too long. If my cargo bike were smaller I'd try to do that ride and take the ferry back.

I've been eyeing this ride for a while, curious to hear how it goes. Particularly the part through Lynn. And I guess Somerville -> northern strand would be via Alford st bridge?

Pot is legal in half of American states, but using it 14 years ago is enough to get you imprisoned if you are an immigrant.

My "favorite" Kessler "fact check" was when he called Bernie Sanders a liar for correctly noting that "Three people in this country own more wealth than the bottom half of America." Kessler's argument was that it doesn't count because "people in the bottom half have essentially no wealth."

My load 75 can fit 3 kids though preferably two of them have knees. Gets a bit cozy in the winter with thick jackets, otherwise a good amount of space for two kids (6 & 4). It's expensive but it's also the best thing I've bought.

Agreed with your point but I thought that congress *used* to beat the S&P but no longer does because investment firms gained better access to political information over time (which is, I guess worse?) Maybe I'm wrong though, this sounds a bit conspiratorial.
