I’ve been told the same thing. A while ago I embraced my weirdness. I’m not meant to fit in with most people. But the people I do find and fit with I much prefer these days.

It took me a few hours today to get going after that. It was a big reset for my brain.

It was my wife that did it to me this morning! I had to have a cup of tea then just lay down for a bit staring at space!

Apparently it’s world mental health day. Mental health support sucks in the UK but I know it’s even worse in other places.

As an autistic with alexithymia I’m not gonna say I’m the best person for stuff but if you need a chat then hit me up! Even if it’s for company.

How do we help boost it?

A little bit of thought and some extra text on a website or whatever is not going to cost much but will make a lot of people feel more seen and included.

It’s bizarre how many things have “wheel chair accessible” under accessibility headings and that’s it.

1. There are A LOT more things to consider and mention on a website.

2. Just because a wheelchair can get in doesn’t mean the place/event is actually accessible.
