I liked every Harry Potter game I ever played, so I'm sure the LEGO games won't be any different.

but it’s held together by a captivating family of racing-loving characters with devoted actors who all seem unfazed by the green screen that must have greeted them at every turn during every scene. Like Scott Pilgrim, I wish the audience would have voted with their wallets to show Hollywood (9/10)

just with a lot more energy, corrupt sponsors, sports conspiracies, the maffia, some gun fighting, martial arts, an ape and a whole lot of fast-paced futuristic racing, all which with a special anime-sauce poured over it. Excuse me, I mean drenched in a thick anime soup! It’s absolutely nuts, (8/10)

But I think the Wachowskis and their team nailed the look of what a live-action anime should look and sound like, even if it might seem a bit too much at times. In essence, there’s nothing really new here in the story and the character development, and it’s like every other sports movie, (7/10)

family comedy so much so that, in the hands of lesser filmmakers, the viewer might have a whiplash within half an hour. Either that or an epileptic attack from the many flashing lights, lightning-fast editing and all the colours of the rainbow present in every bloody shot. (6/10)

The Wachowskis used every trick they learned from their extensive knowledge on anime to make a live-action anime movie, as well as what they already managed with the Matrix trilogy, and they 100% succeeded in every imaginable way. The movie regularly shifts tone from a serious sports drama to (5/10)

all while managing to coherently tell Speed Racer’s origin, all you need to know about his family and his brother Rex in particular, and how much he and his family are 200% devoted to racing. While the pacing settles down a bit after the introduction, the energy never lets up. (4/10)

both proved to me that modern Western cinema needs more colour and crazy anime influences. Judging by the cult following both movies would receive, I’m not alone in this opinion.

It’s still impressive to me the way the Wachowskis manage to cram so much energy into the first 20 minutes or so, (3/10)

that could only be made once in a generation. I was only half right, of course. It was only two-years later that Scott Pilgrim vs. The World would flop with similar aesthetics, but whether it’s an action sports comedy or an action romantic comedy, the Wachowskis and Edgar Wright (2/10)

Speed Racer.

As a huge Matrix fan (and I mean HUGE, it’s my favourite franchise EVER), I needed to watch the Wachowskis’ Speed Racer, even though I wasn’t familiar with the IP. After the two-hour sensory overload was finished, I knew I had witnessed something (1/10)

I am shocked!

Exactly. Even as someone who never owned an Xbox, the OG and 360 are legendary to me. After that, my interest in the brand vanished quicker than you can say Master Chief.

I heard about this before, so I would never blame the movie theater for the prices.

Must be the ghost dog. Cute ghost dogs must be shared. I don't make the rules.

Still a banger. I'll never grow tired of it. 😄

I can't wait for the day my daughter would be interested in these games. I only have LEGO Stars Wars II, The Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones, but I will definitely expand. Harry Potter looks like fun too.

I'd simply love a remaster or maybe just a port of Burnout 3. I only had 1 and 2 as an option on the 'Cube, so I never played it.

I look back at the OG Xbox and the 360 and I realise how incredibly hard they fucked up after. From a distance, never having owned a Xbox, I view those consoles as legendary. What came after's just...not interesting to me.
