There’s a lot of things I didn’t like about Jurassic World Rebirth one of the lesser annoyances was the weird lowballing of prices/numbers that started in Fallen Kingdom - am I dumb, or does 72 million to make a dinosaur feel cheap when a fighter jet is like three times that cost?

I am a post and run sort of person but I’m also not trying to push sales, I just post whatever then dip out. I tend to work with companies versus direct to consumer so it’s a different ballgame.

For no budget, you can also look for existing, Creative Commons & Public Domain imagery on sites like Wikipedia Commons, Unsplash, Pexels, library & museum Flickr pages, etc.

In addition to cheap, genAI is a major red flag: it looks unsafe, untrustworthy, a sign that you do not prioritize *people*.

Been busy with stuff here and there, mostly life stuff, but I took a moment to revisit my allosaurus and rework some textures a little and put proper eyes in it. I started to work on a stegosaurus recently, not sure what the end game is but I’ll probably do something with both

Catching up on NoClip podcasts and my jaw dropped when @frankhowley.bsky.social mentioned he was playing R.A.D. I played the crap out of that game in high school and still have the disk. It’s such a weird, flawed, cool game. I hope he got to keep playing it.

I like using those white polymer erasers, but man I can never keep one in good enough shape long enough to use most of it. The current one I have has lots of hard spots on it and grime that just deposits crap onto the paper instead of erasing.

Doing what Universal can’t seem to get their act together to properly do.

I really can’t wait, this looks fantastic.

Honestly, if I had tech bro level of billions and I wanted to throw it away on stroking my ego instead of, you know, helping society, I’d funnel it all into making a kaiju out of a lobster.

Probably about as successful as these rockets and far more interesting.

They wanted to pass this evil budget to take away healthcare from millions earlier today. It’s still stuck in the rules committee cause House Dems introduced over 500 amendments and we are lined up to debate on them. Delaying is important. Keep up the pressure on these Congressional Republicans.

Duuuude Japanese 7-11’s are the best. When we were in Japan for our honeymoon we pretty much hit up 7-11 everyday for breakfast.

Went to Joann’s recently to grab some heavily discounted art supplies, so as a result I’ve been using them for some analytical figure studies.
