Most school shooters don’t get guns from strangers. They get them from home.

We can change that—by locking up firearms and demanding safe storage.

Because one locked gun could save a life. #ProtectOurChildren

Do you own a gun?

✅ Lock It Up.
✅ Store Ammo Separately.

Medicare for All isn't radical.

What's radical is that we are the only major country not to guarantee health care as a human right. Every other major country figured out years ago how to provide health care to all at a much lower cost.

Please don't tell me we can't do the same.

Did you know?

In 1968, 24 Black men in Pittsburgh revolutionized emergency medicine.

The Freedom House Ambulance Service was established to provide emergency medical care to underserved Black neighborhoods—creating the world’s first paramedics.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Florida health official advises communities to stop adding fluoride to drinking water Florida's surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, cited developmental concerns from higher levels of fluoride than are found in most U.S. water supplies.

Fluoridated water
1)Reduces tooth decay by ~25% in kids and adults.
2) For every $1 spent, communities save up to $38 in dental costs.
3) Benefits everyone, regardless of income or access to dental care.
4) Over 75 years of research shows it’s effective and harmless.

Don't let go of anyone's hand Who are we if we sacrifice others’ safety and freedom to protect our power?

Americans must heed this Portuguese phrase: “Ninguém solta a mão de ninguém.” Translated it means, “No one let go of anyone’s hand.”

This narrative is problematic
1. No evidence that vaccines cause autism
2. Vaccines save lives & prevent cancer
3. These narratives are contributing to the emergence of vaccine preventable diseases (polio, measles pertussis - all things that will NOT MAHA despite what the new administration says).

On this Transgender Day of Remembrance, I’m reminded that many in our various communities feel scared, fearful &/or vulnerable right now. I also know many don’t trust police & for good reason

Please screenshot or save these resources who are there to help & DO NOT involve police

Measles cases rose to more than 10 million in 2023, WHO and CDC say The surge in the preventable disease was driven by “inadequate immunization coverage,” the agencies said.

Measles surged to 10.3M cases in 2023, claiming 107,500 lives (mostly children). Only 74% globally received the second vaccine dose, as misinformation and access issues impede progress. 🩺 🛟
