We’ve won three league games since November 1. We are on paste to be more than 20 points behind where we were last year in the league. 15 points back from where we were last year now. We played a league 2 strength squad in CL and a Newcastle squad that can’t win away if the other club forfeits.

But we can’t ignore that we sold all of the squad who press, changed tactics to possession based, didn’t buy anyone to strengthen the tactic that won the league last year and created a tactical approach that doesn’t get the most of Mo.

Mo looks slow and inefficient because we press terribly as a team and he didn’t have to press before because we as a team could make up for it and put him in a position for Trent to fire one over his shoulder and he could be a deadly weapon. Is he aging? Yes.

I loved when Stevie asked Hugo about watching El Niño as a kid and Hugo looks at him like “bro I was 10” then Hugo throws his mom under the bus for not paying so he could watch the prem in France as a kid. Too funny.

Good point on the 442. I felt we built a squad meant to play a 41212 diamond and had no intention of playing that but I’m honestly still really confused about our summer plan. Im coming to the opinion that more blame should be put on Hughes then on slot, but once you lose the squad it don’t matter

I’m so used to one of the away or 3rd kit colors just being putrid that I totally respect keeping it classic.

Also, he’s a number 10. Like we may have a coach who doesn’t run a formation that utilizes the number 10 and honestly a number 10 isn’t really really used very much anymore in Europe but it’s an issue we totally ignore. It’s like spending 220M on two strikers when we don’t run that formation.
