I work at a library and one of the things we do periodically is straighten the books by bringing them to an even line at the front of the shelf. My elderly coworker called it "edging." I couldn't bring myself to educate her.

Closing in on the yearly goal. I think for 2026 I should maybe focus on consistency.

On a less humorous note, my wife makes reusable feminine hygiene kits for developing countries where having one allows girls to stay in school past puberty. We've shipped thousands to sub-Saharan Africa.

Embarking on a new adventure -- outlining a story using the snowflake method. So far, the structured approach has helped reign in my chaotic brain. Would recommend.

Believe me, this gets easier the more you do it. Stick up for yourself, because you can't count on anyone else doing it for you.
