Just another try with Gemini Imagine3. Thats indeed more impressive. Still not perfect but nearby useful.

The influenza viruses should bind clearly recognizable to the surface of the erythrocytes and connect them to form networks or aggregates. The representation should have realistic proportions: Erythrocytes with a diameter of about 7-8 micrometers and influenza viruses with a size of about 80-120 nanometers. The viral surface protein haemagglutinin should be stylized and labeled. In addition, sialic acid binding sites on the erythrocyte membranes should be visible to illustrate the interaction between virus and cell. Use high-contrast colors to better distinguish the structures. The illustration should have a high level of detail, comparable to a textbook-like scientific illustration. Optionally, a scale in micrometers/nanometers can be integrated
I have been trying for a while to get an AI to produce a reasonable, detailed image of the binding of influenza viruses to erythrocytes (haemagglutination assay for a course). Somehow I didn't succeed, lots of strange pictures. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could work better
