It's probably one of the most video-game-looking video games to come out of the State of Play. Like, straight up looks like a game that would exist within another fictional setting as the hype fantasy thing everybody's talking about. Crimson Moon, Kena 2, and Beast of Reincarnation all looked cool.

And yeah, seems that Persona and k-ID are the main ones, though Discord keeps claiming Persona is an "experiment" 🤨

I'm also surprised, now that I'm looking again, that this page hasn't been coming up more, given that it talks about Persona as an "experiment" they're trying for age verification alongside k-ID, which seems to be what they're considering the "main" method.

*That* is helpful context (though I could do without the weird anti-porn stance). The confusing messaging with the original post was the implication that somehow, someone had gotten this sort of message early in the U.S., and that the expected March rollout was happening ahead of schedule.

Exactly. I'm not at all invested with anyone staying on discord, but if we're going to leave the platform I want people to at least try to make sure they're not just decimating the networks they've already built up in the rush to get out.

At the very least, I'm worried that it's reactionary. People are trying to figure out details right now, and some of it feels far too hasty. I saw some mention of Discord using Persona earlier today, and efforts to dig deeper led to a couple of twitter posts, one with these exact images.

*This* is the kind of info that will be make-or-break for people migrating to other platforms sooner rather than later, and I'd really love more certainty than screenshots passed through multiple hands and blasted out to thousands of people haphazardly.
