It’s been a pretty consistent bummer this year seeing good films get fairly wide releases only to struggle to find an audience. Latest one is THE ORDER, which is truly great, and earned a meager $1400 PSA this weekend. That’s a lot of empty shows. If you want diversity at local theaters, show up!

Some days I wake up in a cold sweat thinking about Tom Wilkinson giving one of the best supporting performances of this century in Michael Clayton, only to go up against Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men at the Oscar’s that year. Life is not fair sometimes.
