It's anecdotal but I'm friends with multiple accountants and three of them were just laid off in the last month. The businesses are different industries completely but this seems like a growing trend.

Don't get me wrong, I voted for her, but just cuz you lose a popularity contest doesn't mean there's no leadership roles to fulfill. We need leadership MORE now, not less.

I find it very telling that she was willing to do the easier part of the job, and not the harder part: leading from loss.

Where the fuck has Kamala been since she lost? The Democratic party has been starved for leadership and she was, ostensibly, the person the party looked to for that the most at this precise moment.
