Virginia was very overjoyed about planning this event plus she is the only one who knows what the gender is so of course she’s going to invite everyone. “I don’t mind one bit, it’s a special moment for Sade so I’m making sure she’ll remember this for years.”

“So we are doing all of this just to find out the gender of the baby.” Marisol complained, flipping through the pages of the book, “And mama, look at how many people you’re inviting. Are you feeding an army!?”

At Virginia’s house sitting at the table, filled with books as Sade, Virginia and Marisol were going through the list of things to prepare for the upcoming gender reveal party.

“That’s fine by me. She is 𝘮𝘺 baby after all.” Duke kissed Dakota’s forehead.

Sade just rolled her eyes but laughed softly, “I’m so glad we’re having another baby because this one is all mine.”

Duke laughed holding his baby in his arms, “She just wants to say goodbye to daddy before he goes to work, isn’t that right, Koda.”

“She thinks she can get whatever she wants because you keep coddling her.” Sade stated which is 100% true.

“Listen here you little tyrant. Let mommy have a few minutes with daddy before you start your little outburst. Need I remind you that he was mine before you came along.” Sade handed Dakota to Duke, tickling her stomach.

Every tender kiss, every i love yous, every single gentle touch feel like they were up on cloud nine. But Dakota was getting antsy not being the center of attention so she started whining and crying, kicking her legs behind the back carrier.

Sade gently caressed his cheek, “Don’t worry too much but I will. I do have you on speed dial after all.” She chuckled, staring deep into his eyes, “I love you so much.”

“I love you so much too.”

“I mean it. Don’t hesitate to call me if something happens, I’ll be home before you know it.” Duke told her, he knows that he can be a tad bit overprotective however Sade didn’t mind it’s one of the many reasons why she loves him.

“I know, but you’re doing amazing so far,” Duke smiled at her, “I still don’t understand the bizarre food cravings you eat.”

“Hey, pickles dipped in peanut butter taste like heaven. Don’t knock it till you try it, babe.”

"Yeahhhh, I'm going to have to pass on that but you do you, pipsqueak."

“Seriously, I’m happy either way. I hope Dakota doesn’t mind that she’s going to be a big sister.” Sade laughed, while smoothing out the collar of his shirt, “I still can’t believe we're doing this again.”

“So hypothetically speaking, what do you want this one to be?” Sade asked him.

“Hm, well, hypothetically I do hope it’s another girl.”

“Typical answer for a typical girl dad.”

“Well you did ask.” Duke chuckled, giving her bump a soft kiss.

His attention turned to her baby bump, his fingers tracing her stretchmarks. “And you better not give your mommy a hard time why I’m at work, little one.” He spoke to their baby which responded with a kick.

Falling victim to his wife's gaze and touch, Duke has no choice but to listen to her. “I know I know, don’t need to tell me twice pipsqueak.” He turned his to the side, planting a kiss on her wedding ring.

“Don’t give me that look, you can’t keep missing anymore work.” Sade lectured Duke since he has been staying home a lot more throughout her pregnancy. And as much as she appreciates him by keeping her grounded, she doesn't want him to jeopardize his business.

Time has passed and it is now summer with Sade being into the second trimester of her pregnancy. And instead of finding out the gender of the baby, she and Duke decided to plan a gender reveal party being held at Virginia's house.
