Not the first time but this one stood out. The discussion was thoughtful, positive, and tech-focused.
Are devs finally waking up to the problems with centralization and big tech?
Theyβre trying to build something totally different, a sovereign, private by default developer stack!

future collaboration will likely:
+ be continuous convo rather than just discrete commits.
+occur in local-first or semi-private environments.
+require stronger privacy and encryption at rest to prevent data from being harvested for AI training without consent.
R.I.P. the commit?
The old way github style is basically taking snapshots of code.
The proposal argues that collaboration should be a continuous conversation where chat and code are seamlessly integrated.

If the bottleneck is trust, we need a web of trust to verify contributors. I wonder if the trust graphs from @aboutcircles.bsky.social could be the key to scoring and verifying software in this new, gated ecosystem? IDK
23.01.2026 14:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think another very striking section is the one on secure software distribution. If an AI can spin up a library in seconds, the new bottleneck is trust. I wonder what role @aboutcircles.bsky.social could play here?
I want to collaborate with a verified circle of humans and trusted agents
We are in a space completely dominated by AI and bots. The public internet is now dead. As a result, users are going into private, semi closed spaces.
Software collaboration will follow, moving away from pure openness toward trusted, social proximity networks.
In a world of AI & bots, we need human centric, local first tools more than ever.
And very few people in crypto are concerned with privacy and secure software distribution. I read Radworks' RGP-28 and I am very happy to see that @lftherios.bsky.social and team are doubling down on it.
