I didn't realize the ICE guy was off duty. He didn't hold the kid at gunpoint during his work schedule. So, not a federal crime, I guess?
If this happened in a red state it wouldn't even be a story.

However, in the meantime, the judge could deny him bail. If the attorneys for the teen can drag this case out for a year or two, he could sit in prison for a while and have a miserable time.

I'm not concerned. The thought crossed my mind. I can definitely tell that they are the good guys. I love my vet.

I'm just learning how to grow plants. I haven't mastered "pleasing to the eye" yard, so it will be very lipstick-on-a-pig chaotic this winter.

I recently learned that the reason some leaves turn red is because of the sugars contained in them. The sugar gets trapped in the leaves when it's sunny and cool during the day but not freezing at night. The red color acts as a sunscreen to protect the leaf.

Wow. I did not know corporate-owned veterinarian practices are a thing. Time to do research on a few in my area. Glad I take my cats to my local humane society.

On top of that the ER veterinarians are absolutely predatory. They will spin a non-life threatening sneeze into surgery. Owners feel like they were neglectful (even when they're not) and will hand over endless amounts of cash to quell their guilt and stop their pet from sneezing or whatever.

I Google Lens the dog food that says "Junior". It's Royal Canin brand dog food. Possibly a South American version. I found websites that carry it in French Guiana, Argentina, and Brazil. No, I'm not a bot. Maybe a little neuro-spicy though. 😁
