Seems like you can run it via wine, i dont see community files, but thats normal. Not many folks have migrated dj software to linux compared to daws.

Searching around it seems like a few folks have been able to get it to run well in wine. Worth a try if you have the space for a linux partition.

Depends, ill poke around bottles and see if its listed, there are presets for some programs that makes it super easy, but you should be able to run it via wine atleast (kinda like an emulator but complicated)

Some windows software just runs in wine, its been pretty fun testing to see what does lol

If you use fl studio, ableton or reason, doing a fresh install of either will work if you install via wine and then load via bottles. It was janky with just wine (lost audio drivers some how) but bottles cleaned up the issues.

A week of trying so many weird things and the easiest most simple option was the right one, i feel so goofy lol.

Ive used flstudio for years and have dabbled in ableton and korg's stuff off and on. Lmms is my biggest option rn for native support snd not using wine

If you've thought about switching your windows gaming pc to linux (because lol fuck Microsoft), its super easy to try a distro flavor like mint or fedora now and see if your hardware will handle it.

Mine isnt taking much tweaking to make it feel and run the way i want, its fantastic!
