There’s over 5 weeks left until the start of the season, if it was a week left I could understand the level of criticism. We’re not the top of the food chain, other business will need to fall into place to get some of our top targets.

If this is correct it would suggest Harrison will be staying with us. I really hope some of the new signings are exciting enough to make up for it as ideally he’d be moved on #lufc

Agree that Stach and Longstaff in and Gruev out would be good business. Would feel short changed with just Longstaff though.

The statement says they did and received reassurances, then the German authorities have changed their mind last minute.

Paraag has already stated they will work more collaboratively on signings than previously, so I don’t think there will be any ‘Farke signings’. Although the last one he really wanted was Tanaka and look how that worked out #lufc

It sounds like we’re right up to the limit for the 3 year period ending with this season. So even if it was a few millions added it would take us over.
We should be able to announce signings that go through on the 1st of July though.

Rodon last season was the same, so it doesn’t rule out a permanent move. I’d think Tottenham and Solomon’s demands will play a huge part. With PSR being a big issue, value for money will no doubt be high on the club’s list of criteria #lufc

When he signed a new contract the remaining book value at the time will have been spread across the new contract length. So probably around 3m still remaining. Even if we only break even, I’d say he needs moving on #lufc

I meant woeful performance from the ref. I think we controlled the game second half and deserved the 2 nil win even though we weren’t at our best. Them being able to take lumps out of our wingers with impunity didn’t help either.

Best win since Leicester. We didn’t go on to convert it into anything meaningful last year, but I think this year will be different.

Plenty of fans might have, but I don’t think a single Leeds player would. That’s who we are this season. We go to the end and we’re never beaten.
