I like my book group because sometimes we read a book I might not have found. However, the current one is a heap of rancid trifle so I'm happily reading something else and will try to tactfully express my opinion when we meet.

My work book group has chosen the worst book I've ever read this month. I keep dropping into later chapters in case the plot improves enough to get past the terrible writing. I think I'm going to ditch it and I refuse to feel bad.
