Have been quiet, and scared recently. Things are bad out there. Not getting bad, they ARE bad. Just remember, our entire existence is an act of defiance, and it will remain as such.
Stand with your people, your tribe and don't let the bastards grind you down.

I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees.

No refugee underfunded a school.

No refugee closed a hospital.

No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.

We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!

Far too much, I'm afraid

Fuxking hate having #fibromyalgia. 6 degrees cooler today and damp to boot, and suddenly I can barely stand, let alone walk. The pain in my legs and hips is agonising, my lower back is on fire. And yet, docs will just fob me off.
Pain today is an 8.

And yet, the online communities, my chosen family, accept me with open arms and hearts. And remind me of what family should be.
They remind me every day that I am deserving of love, kindness, and understanding. And for that, I am truly grateful

And was immediately told not to say anything to anyone else because they may be upset, confused or offended at my very existence.
Meanwhile, at the meal later that day, I sat being ridiculed for my health issues and food intolerance. For not having a husband, and not wanting kids...

Extended family that would rather see me married with kids in a dead end job, fuelling the machine in order to fulfil my role as 'a woman'. Abusive ex partners who had it in their heads that they owned me, as as such, could do as they pleased.

Two years ago, I came out to my mother.

Growing up was hard. Having parents that didn't see me as anything other then an over sensitive little 'girl'. Having two younger brothers, who despite the protection I gave when parents fought, and the amount of sibling rivalry I fought against, have always despised who I really am.

Waking up, body creaks, pain courses through every fibre.
Moving, body screams,
Most times it hurts to survive.
My right leg is tingling and left is on fire. Ribs feel tight and unmoving.
But still I wake, and I rise, wipe the sleep from my eyes, and...

Gearing up for another pride, and feeling lost.
Pride has always been a form of protest, and I want to march. But my legs cannot handle the parades anymore. So instead, I make mini trans flags to give out. Just a small token. And I remember those who fought before, so we can stand proud now.
