Repression is not something that comes "after" the movement. It is not a custodial task. Building police centers and concentration camps, rounding up workers on a farm, are also all acts of repression that we resist. They fight us, we fight them back. It's as simple as that.

Border Patrol agents raided a Home Depot in Los Angeles today, kidnapping over a dozen people in what they called "Operation Trojan Horse."
They borrowed this tactic from Patriot Front, a neo-Nazi group that rents box trucks to transport its members to marches.

A late 19th-century painting of people living lives of leisure and pleasure, with these words:
What do you love to do most—so much so that you'd gladly give away the results, if only you could spend your life doing it?
What if other people, by doing what they love, could enable you to do what you want to do?

ICE recently closed its Portland building to the public, multiple sources told Street Roots Monday. The closure may seem like a win for ICE opponents, but immigrant rights advocates say closing the building wreaks havoc for those seeking critical legal aid. ✍️: @jeremiahhayden.bsky.social
