Gabriela Damentka will investigate the evolutionary history of Terricola in Southern Europe from the Late Pleistocene to the early Holocene, using both ancient and modern DNA. She aims to clarify taxonomy and reveal responses to pastΒ climateΒ change. This will be part of her doctoral dissertation!
