Wonderful video about my exact favorite kind of cinema! I have to recommend Jia Zhangke and Bi Gan if you haven’t seen their stuff yet. Bi Gan specifically I think reaches towards that fantastical slow cinema you’re looking for. More in a dreams and reality blurring way than another world though.
