This wall was behind the @w_shed in Central Bristol for a while.
It was another fun one, but those boards rotted quite fast.

Not another drawing Video!

How I drew the Angry A.I character for my latest collab ‘Creatives Against A.I: The Resistance’.

It’s not getting a lot of love yet. Gotta be honest. Ha.

The project goes live on Friday and from Saturday I will be adding other artists versions of A.I to mine..

I’ve started another paint job in Bedminster on Thursday/Friday for @city_andcountry at @factoryno1bristol

It’s a fun one to do. This is wall 1 of 5.

95% positive feedback from residents and passers by, but it’s always that one or two negative comments that stick with you.

I chose to portray all of the creative industry under the banner of the spray paint medium… as it’s easier to show the effects on walls.

But really it’s just to make it visually easy to understand.

It actually includes all creatives and the struggles we now feel under the one art medium.

And just for reference, this comic is a tongue in cheek look at this current wave of A.I we are seeing.

It is designed to show the struggles of all those people in the creative field who have felt the negative presence of A.I, and anyone who likes silly stories with fun characters… and trash pandas

This is the page the Trash Pandas discover all of this strange new art. At first they are excited at the new art on the streets, but confused by its ‘odd look’ and similarity to existing art…

We create a resistance.
we are being bombarded by A.I slop. It’s time to fill peoples social media feeds with real art… and a new collab.

In the same way that Covid 19 killed the art industry for a while, I’m seeing a similar thing now with the A.I scourge and creatives finding jobs disappearing. (Obviously without all the heartbreak and loss of life).

So, what do we do?…

I created a collaboration project called ‘Spread Art, Not the ‘Rona’.
People created their versions of How they imagined the coronavirus looked and it was added to a digital collab, to imitate the spread of Covid and remind people to stay safe…

When Covid 19 appeared in 2020 and lockdowns came into force, many creatives found their work dried up….

Probably the biggest, and one of my favourite, Trash Panda wall I have painted to date was this one from 2017ish? ((2018 maybe)… in Burnham on Sea. And it’s still there (I think).

It’s on the side of the Ritz Cinema and features the Trash Pandas eating popcorn and watching movies…
