Did no writing today. No work on my huge, magnum opus comic book story. Did manage a few hours work on a Hulk illustration,which was cut short when sweat started dripping on to the page.

Have noticed the paper on which I was drawing has spider poop and other stains. Will need to be traced again.

One of the problems with starting a huge ensemble illustration (trying to include every character who appeared in Peter David's 12 year run on Incredible Hulk) & then leaving it for years is trying to work out who the roughs are supposed to be when it's just an oval and you've completely forgotten.

Impressive!

I was up at 5am, went cycling (16.3 kms, 45 minutes), meditated for half an hour once I'd stopped sweating, then went through my Bluesky feeds.

Waiting for today's Whodle to go up (10am here) and then I'm off to work on my Peter David tribute Hulk illustration.

Heaven help me if I ever meet someone in person who claims to be an AI author. I have a glass face. I cannot pretend. I will do my trademark cackle and then just snicker uncontrollably for a while. Do you let the plagiarism robot kiss your lover? Look at sunsets for you? Why are you even alive?

Bit of a case of "quitting is easy, I've done it heaps of times" there.

It really does come close to being an utterly perfect story.

I was watching Tom n Lis before I can really remember, and they were formative. There used to be this old address book of my mum's at home which had dalek battles I'd scribbled in pen when I was 2 or 3, and it had Davros there too.

It's my second fave Dalek story, only topped by Genesis. And Genesis features Tom and Lis, and the original and definitive Davros, so Remembrance actually getting close to knocking that off as my fave dalek story is really something.

It's just brilliant, and 7 and Ace are always amazing.
