In this black and white portrait formatted landscape captures a road that disappears into sunlit fog. The road leads to the middle of the composition from the foreground, and trees enclose the rest of the space of the image. There's a tunneling effect from the trees arching over the road and a sense of depth in the varying shades of black and gray as they move further into the distance with atmospheric perspective. At the point that the road disappears there is a curve which gives a sense of the road turning into trees, and that adds a sense of mystery to the image.

A Tiger Lily with orange, downward-facing flowers adorned with dark, prominent spots resembling a tiger's coat.
