Great question! I timed myself at one point; I don’t remember+ it didn’t include trimming time. These days, it’s hard to find moments to throw between teaching, admin work, applying for jobs, etc. I want to say I got 13 done in an hour, thereabouts 🤔 I’ll make more soon and let you know 😆

50 stemless wine glasses. Unless I’m making my travel mugs to fit silicone lids, or making lidded forms, I never measure to get every piece looking the same. I just start with the same weight and eyeball it. Usually I get all of them as part of a matching set of 4 or more 😉

This week I started all my #pottery #wheel classes a little different: I gave my students 15 mins to throw as many pieces as possible, not worrying about keeping anything they made. I did the #warmup #challenge too & threw 13 cylinders in 15 mins. Let’s see if I can make more in tomorrow’s class 😆

I am really frustrated that the press is discussing the destruction of USAID as something that has happened rather than an illegal action that will likely be undone in two weeks when courts tell the world that it was illegal.
