This conversation has taken an extremely interesting twist and now I'm wondering exactly who the people are who are talking to this TV news guy. They have a way with wording their questions that makes me think they're trying to get very specific info from him.

There's a guy here who is a local news person, and he's gossiping loudly with a couple about all the local TV news people and whether or not they're assholes. They keep throwing names at him and he renders a verdict. Not something I ever thought I'd be present for in this particular spot.

For a short time, definitely. But the general population doesn't have the firepower that the military does. Drones, bombs, I mean let's include nukes in this because everything is insane anyway. The biggest military in the world is controlled by fascists.

Americans like to talk a lot of shit, but the vast majority would probably keep their heads down after one or two of those massacres.

At this point, the first ICE agent to be shot and killed by an American is going to trigger martial law. The American people can't fight off the U.S. armed forces.

And yes, they will find plenty of troops loyal to Trump who are perfectly willing to kill their own people. ICE is proof of that.

I'm very concerned about what's going to happen to him in there. If he "commits suicide", I hope his family get the best lawyers on the planet to uncover the truth.

I think in this case "established" means "politically connected" via GOP donations and backroom deals.

If he schmoozes Trump in just the right way, he'll be set free.

Some of them probably don't know how to tie their own shoes. They might need to learn how bank accounts work so they can be paid. Probably need to learn how to actually operate their weapons correctly so they don't accidentally shoot themselves in their freshly-tied boots.
