Spirit Blade deserves better 🐕🗡️

The Spirit Blade was saved from a dark ritual by an expert swordsman, who adopted and trained him on their journey.

When his teacher passed, their soul remained in the steel that the Spirit Blade wields.

We didn't want only humanoids, and we feel there is a strong story to tell with this one ❤️🐾

The puppet is roughly 2-3x the size of the Puppetmaster who rides atop it, controlling it with magical strings. The puppet has the appearance of a gigantic spool of thread, with large arms protruding from the sides. It's face has a gigantic, opened safety pin that serves as its pincers. It has splashes of Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow through it's threads.

Once we had figured out what the Puppetmaster and puppet should look like, we then had to find her color.

We wanted to give her powerful witch/wiccan vibes with some fun flair. We left a nice "Oz" shoutout and kept to Power Well's signature CMYK style.

The Puppetmaster's puppet went through several iterations. We started with more of a patchwork marionette, but felt that wasn't doing justice to the over-the-top design style we were maintaining elsewhere.

We pivoted to a gigantic, spooled beast.

The Puppetmaster was probably the most difficult hero to concept. We wanted her to feel powerful, and we needed her puppet to be imposing.

In designing her we were essentially designing two separate heroes that would play symbiotically.

The Drauth, lovingly referred to as "Bone Guy" in the Discord, is a master of death and decay, freezing abilities and leaving an army of skeletons in his wake.

We had a very clear vision for Drauth, so it only took a few concept passes before we got there.

The last remaining member of the fallen Order of the Wellbreakers, the Knight has sworn an oath to destroy the Power Well by any means necessary!
