Why can we have people pay a different price for a Big Mac based on their face, or what their spending habits are, but we can't tax people their fair share if they make more than $250,000 in a year?

Goods do not need to fluctuate in price given someone's appearance. Why would McDonald's need AI in the drive thru via facial recognition?

We'll see quantitative proof that AI is a tool used by the billionaire class to exploit workers through a loss of work and paying an unfair share of cost.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if in three years (assuming research is still funded and happening then) that price gouging efforts via AI will shown to be racist and classist.

Because tech bros are the ones leading its market launch, it's fraught with biases and currently shows racist tendencies.

(1) we lose jobs and (2) it markets to us garbage that reinforces capitalism and the financial gain of billionaires.

AI can be used for good things, but within capitalism, it's being used as a form of hyperexploitation.

For people not familiar with AI, it probably feels like an all-knowing, autonomously ran piece of tech that is the inevitable future, but it doesn't have to be.
