Tuesday Teasers While we’re cursing and straining, I imagine the fibrous tissue below McKenzie’s skin, the muscles compressing and stretching, his heart pumping blood through the network of veins spreading from his head to his toes. And, in that instant, I see how we’re all nothing but lumps of raw flesh wrapped around organs and bones. It's not often my writing gets me invited anywhere 😉 and Farnham's only about an hour away, so I'm making the most of being shortlisted and having an evening out. No expectations, though. I've been on shorter shortlists and come away empty handed! 😂😂

My novel's set during the summer, at which time my main character would like to spend her next Christmas - her first one as a married woman - quietly at home rather than at her in-laws'. Of course, what she wants by the end of the novel is a different matter.
