I worry about Tony Khan’s return from injury policy in regard to Ospreay and Swerve because at no point, I do not think those two should be given cold starts like he did with Omega and Kingston. They should start where they left off.

It makes me lose my interest. I miss Hammerstone. I miss De La Renta being the manager of power acts. And fuck it, I even miss MJF. This MLW is ass.

Watching MLW is hard because they have that old school carney feel mixed with Lucha Underground, and then they do shit like have Austin Aries and Matt Riddle.

Shotzi Blackheart and Priscilla Kelly? Cool. Donavan Dijak and that other tall white guy from WWE? Okay. Fucking Austin Aries and Riddle?!

That is the period where I’ll stop watching.

Ospreay vs Adam Brooks, one of Ospreay’s highest rated matches on cagematch, was performed in front of 200 people. Absolute ass.

It’s an easy program to run. But Lashley or the HS in general ain’t interested in being booked to look like chumps. So Joe steps in. The only other guy that would make sense is Okada, but Tony wants the Takeshita match to happen first. But note, I’ll throw HS under the bus at any opportunity.

Joe’s an interesting choice because at this point in his career, he isn’t a main event PPV guy. But here is my wild theory. Take it or leave it, the guy that was supposed to be next is Lashley. Lashley dominated Swerve and MVP has built him as this unpinnable guy. But Lashley ain’t taking pins.

This reign however is having a myriad of problems, but the biggest one is that four of his current marquee matchups are hurt. Swerve, Ospreay, Omega, and Jay White being injured or on an on and off schedule are hurting interest. Fortunately for Hangman, people like him enough regardless.

And that is the issue on AEW booking his title reigns. His first title reign was an issue of no one who AEW was pushing at the time(ex-WWE guys) wanted to do jobs for Hangman. The only guys he could get were Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson. And before Mox could get him more heat, CM Punk happened.

The only guys currently in this business that can do that are Ospreay and Omega, and that is because they built a resume specifically for their in-ring ability. Hangman, while no slouch at all, is a character performer. That is how he gets you to care. He aint gonna keep you invested without heat.

What criticism about Hangman is that he is not the kind of draw that you can put him in the main event match against someone he has little heat with. So when you book him, you absolutely need an opponent with time and investment because the in-ring work potential alone is not going to do it alone.

I think the only response to having Takeshita, Bandido, and Okada in a match together is excitement and hype. If it’s “why is this not a title match,” then maybe you just don’t like wrestling?

They would put some thought into it if they loved it. Takeshita & Okada have never teamed up together outside of trios, and this is basically a glorified title challenger match. If they win, they get a shot. I feel like it’s a simple fucking concept, man, that don’t need much explaining.

Yes I am going to stay on the Hurt Syndicate’s ass. You can get fooled by the fake press they are getting but they want to beat up everyone and give nothing back.

If you have a problem with Samoa Joe being in the main event of a PPV at this point of career, well it’s not like Lashley isn’t a guy who dominated Swerve,Hangman’s biggest rival, in a 12 minute squash isn’t actively dodging the singles scene to avoid taking pins.

I don’t know what wrestling circles you be around, brother, but that shit sound stank.
