A snippet of an unreleased BTS fanfiction. Text reads: Namjoo is all too aware of her own eyes. 'Bug eyed' is a literal phrase, she realizes, seeing herself reflected back in the crimson gaze of a praying mantis perched in her girlfriend's long and elegant fingers. Its poised stance exists in opposition to her own temperament. It's a bizarre situation, being surrounded by the hum of many-legged creatures in terrariums while vibrating on her own kind of frequency, unsure of what the next hours may hold. Tehee's roommate is gone for the weekend. Namjoo has a brand new, curved, 6-inch purple dildo with an unused harness in her backpack. And Taehee has been entirely elusive about just what she intends for Namjoo to do with her, just as usual. "Her name is Dahlia, because she's a killer," Taehee coos over the creature in her hands. "Wasn't the black dahlia the one who was murdered?" Taehee shrugs. She places the mantis carefully back in its habitat and seals the top. She blows a kiss to the insect. She shrugs. "It's pretty! Don't question it." She shuffles across the narrow strip of floor that isn't covered with tanks or sprawling plants and removes a beetle from its home. "This one is Frank!" Namjoon narrows her eyes at the little fucker. Perhaps this one holds the secret to what Taehee expects of her. Are they going to fuck? Cuddle? Is Taehee going to dump a cicada on her and send her on her way? Is it ethical to keep cicadas captive? What about those hissing cockroaches she's always going on about? Is any of this okay? And why is Namjoo here? "He's... cute?"
