anyway i canceled my nitro. if anyone has telegram and wants to be buddies on there, i'm creatureguts and i'm trying to get better about using it. i only use discord for like 2 servers and a handful of friends so i'm gonna start phasing myself off it

unfortunately the posting and discussion of nsfw is so hard to even begin to find a potential host for. so it's not as easy as just going and making a forum and telling people to come on in. seeing as i have no interest in an entirely SFW fandom experience, i am not sure where that leaves us

the suggestion of a discord exodus has reminded me of the amount of brainstorming and yes-anding and sketches and writing snippets and inside jokes and gifs and just general tomfoolery that will be lost when servers begin to die

would be so neato if we were using forums for discussions instead of spreading all sorts of cool information and creativity into 60 different niche fandom servers that are gatekept by various fandom factions and friend groups. thank goodness for ao3 and blsky at least.

The more I watch this the funnier it is that he's essentially doing children's party magic misdirection and then throws a punch and stabs at the same time. Izzy is not getting invited back to this McDonald's.

It's hilarious, but I also love this as a character moment. It says so much about who Izzy is as a fighter and how his style fits into Ed and Stede's taste for drama and fuckery, while also being anchored in pragmatic efficiency. Monologuing not just for the drama or attention, but as a misdirect.
