Everyone- men and women-will need to provide proof of citizenship, which in this instance would be a birth certificate. The extra hurdle came if a person changed their name at some point, generally a woman through marriage, which a man would not have to deal with.

How about we focus on the midterms and then think about 2028?

I’ve not heard any of this, on either candidate. Where did you get this from, so I can go look it up. Thanks.

Ah yes, the β€œlesser of two evils” system of voting. That’s been around as long as I can remember. I don’t know why you think Mills is a worse candidate but IMO (and I’m not in Maine, either) sheβ€˜s way ahead of the guy with the Nazi tattoo and bigoted, racist views.

Mills is your governor? (I’m assuming you’re a Maine resident.) I know basically nothing about either candidate but the Nazi symbol is a no for me.

Is he the only Dem running?

If we sit back and expect business as usual, then no, we won’t. It’s up to We the People to be sure that doesn’t happen.

Where do you find these? I do miss them Facebook- I could send a laugh icon or comment individually.

β€œβ€¦ leaving many questions unanswered.” Meaning, she actually did answer some questions?

That’s what I thought too.

Sure looks that way. Damn.

Bingo. I hate that.

Or clickbait. Many times the headline indicates one thing and a contradiction/truth is found buried in the third paragraph.

I’ve brought my iPad sometimes, but for me it’s faster to open an actual book than on my iPad. Paperbacks weigh less, too.

This is sad! I prefer to bring a book to read when I know I’ll likely be kept waiting, like at the doctor’s office, and paperbacks are so easy to carry.

Someone is reaching them. Fox, perhaps? Pete Buttigieg is the only Dem that I know of who has appeared on Fox.

Ah, but these are the people who think we’re saving money by the tremendous 500%, 800% even 1600% reductions on prescriptions! Many people say this.

This Reuters article is current. The photo is from March 2025 and has nothing to do with the article.
