Not the most discussed element of the summit but I think the commitment on UK participation in the internal energy market is v significant. Unambiguous cherry picking which shows both UK willingness to reintegrate into single market and EU willingness to be flexible about it.

Parliament should get a say over Starmer's trade deals It seems astonishing to think that parliament may not get a substantive vote on the principle of these agreements.

Shouldn’t Parliament have a say on new agreements with India, the US and the EU?
