A pumpkin with Bowser’s face (from the Super Mario series) carved into it, lit up for Halloween.

I didn’t have as much time to put into this as I usually do, but I am glad I did one and feel it came out pretty well. Here is my Bowser pumpkin carving 🎃😃

Yeah that game looks really cool, but I have a hard time coordinating co-op gaming time these days. I believe you have a co-op partner right at home with you. Need to find me one of those 😂

What else is up there for you so far this year?

Hell is Us is definitely on the short list for me. I loved Shinobi too. Like you, I will definitely think more on this when the year actually ends, but I found it swimming around in my mind this week for whatever reason.

DK is probably my favorite so far, but I’m not totally sure yet. MS really has been super gross lately so I also get that aspect. I really liked what I played of The Outer Worlds even if I never got around to finishing it.

I know for many it’s Clair Obscur (which I really like but haven’t finished) or maybe Silksong/Hades II (which I haven’t played since the predecessors, despite how good I thought they were, weren’t my personal jam I guess). Just something I’ve been mulling over lately. Curious how it will shake out.

I usually have 2-3 new games I have rated 5 stars on my scale per year and it’s about deciding between them. The only one so far is Blue Prince which I think is a top tier game in its genre. But because of my genre preferences, I may even put several of my 4 star rated games ahead of it. Not sure.

I have played a lot of great games this year (I will have to leave something I really liked already out of my top ten), but for me I don’t think I have had that standout GotY type experience. I’m not sure I see something yet to release that may deliver that — though I’m very open to being wrong!

I had a very sad couple weeks and decided to treat myself to this Jak and Daxter figure I had been eyeing. I had sort of sworn off buying figures besides Funko Pops (since they are cheap), but Jak and Daxter is my fave and their merch is so rare and I don’t think they’re ever getting Funkos.

Great Eagles win today. Nice to see the running game back in such a big way. And hey… they outgained their opponent 😂 Good way to enter the bye week. Packers and then Lions coming out of it. Hope they have found something that can be sustainable on offense coming out of these past two games 😃🏈🦅

I feel like I’m both super rusty having not played Ninja Gaiden in like a decade and remember just enough that it is messing me up because some of the controls are just a bit different. Anyway, I’m kind of terrible at this game so far 😂
