Twenty years ago I worked for the local paper. After Obama's election I was gathering opinions. A local business owner told me if he had the chance he'd blow Obama's brains out. I noted it.

My editor told me "We can't print this" and removed the quote.

I'm madder at him for it now than I was then.

I imagine the protesters' point is to let her know 1) they know she's testing the waters for another campaign, 2) she's a tainted brand, and 3) if she runs again she's dooming the party.

Sadly nah, I'm afraid it's more of a Darth Plagueis situation. The dark side never dies, just lives on through new avatars.

Netanyahu's been war-criming for almost two years and we keep helping him do it. Every day Israel's genocide in Gaza continues, more people are radicalized against Israel and the United States. Nobody is made safer in the long run. This isn't self defense. It's a concerted slaughter of innocents.
