Despite announced in the 19th sanctions package EU ban on imports of #RussianLNG, supercooled gas cargoes from #Yamal are still reaching EU, generating €3.6 billion in revenue in the past 9 months. This sent €67.7 million in tax to the Kremlin's war chest – funding the killer drones and missiles.

Today, as #COP30 kicks off, #Ukraine has made a bold move that speaks volumes more than pledges: it has imposed #sanctions on key Russian fossil fuel projects in the #Arctic and their enablers. Time to start cleaning up the mess caused by decades of the Kremlin's imperial plunder in the region.
